AHERA Asbestos Designated Person – 8 Hours

A Local Education Agency (LEA) is required to designate an individual responsible for ensuring that asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM) are properly managed in its schools.  The AHERA “Designated Person” course provides the necessary training for these individuals on the EPA AHERA Requirements, which includes managing ACBM, conducting inspections and implementing the LEA’s Asbestos Management Program and Operations and Maintenance Plan.
